I expected them to leave us off entirely. Of course they omitted the 1933 National Championship team, the Doak Walker - Kyle Rote team in the early 1950s, and the 1968 Jerry Levias-Mike Livingston team that won the Bluebonnet Bowl over OU.

The 1948 Michigan team probably deserves to edge the Walker/Rote team. We lost at Mizzou and tied TCU that year. But won the SWC and the Cotton Bowl game.
