Helmet Tossing

Postby crazy horse » Sun Sep 22, 2019 9:13 am

Was anything else said about the TCU player ripping the helmet off of Beau Morris and tossing it 30 yards downfield? Any media mention? Is there any NCAA follow up?

There was a lot of chippyness on the field, but that incident seemed quite extreme - and could have reversed the INT had ANY REF paid attention.

Just local media attention. I've been watching ESPN and there's no mentioning of it.

Sonny made a comment in his post game press conference. Said that it was an impressive throw - went really far. He was surprised someone could throw a helmet that far.

The guy who did that should be made famous - and suspended for at least two games.

And who was that BLIND side judge?

Perfect way of drawing attention through humor to a missed call.

Our players focused on the game, and did not get caught up in the distractions. I've never seen an official try to get away from a coach as quick as the Line Judge was from HCSD. He couldn't go anywhere, but he sure wished he could.

Dykes made mention during a timeout to the Referee about the call, or lack thereof. Bet that was an interesting conversation.

Bottom line, 41-38, and I hope it lingers for a bit in their craw.
