I saw the last season in the Cotton Bowl. Moved to Texas Stadium and saw The Great Pony Express run wild, home and away. I had never in my life seen a running back with the style of Eric Dickerson and Craig James. I remember an early bus ride from campus to Ark. and winning the Polyester Bowl. I cried like most pony fans when the pure shame of the DP came down on my team.

Yesterday, seeing a scrappy SMU team win at little TCU in all 3 phases, made me so proud to be a pony fan, thru bad and good. It's fun times once again on the Hilltop.
