Former SMU QB Signs with Detroit Lions

Josh is a terrific athlete, we are talking Matt Jones freak like. This is what got him to the NFL. It is the fact that he is as smart as a bag of donuts that prevents him from being a quality NFL starter. We watched him make terrible reads at SMU, and from watching Arizona games this year he obviously has better physical tools than warner, but he is so mistake prone that Denny Green couldn't handle him. Detroit will find out the same conclusion.

I disagree -- if he struggles in Detroit, it will be for the same reasons he struggled at SMU and Arizona: a terrible line. Then again, he's got to beat out Jon Kitna first.
