As I mentioned in another thread when I saw this article, its interesting that it appeared on the FoxSports website, given that Fox is one of the Big XII media partners. Probably means nothing, but generally speaking there are no coincidences.

It could be a media campaign that SMU might be engaging in to drive attention. I'm sure the marketing department is calling sports writers to help building a profile for this critical time. Of course when we were ranked in the top 25 would have been a good time for something like this.
