Ed Orgeron out

LSU and Orgeron are parting ways at end of season. So the Coaching carousel takes a surprising turn.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

What an amazing fall from grace, only two years from winning a National Championship. The backstory will be fascinating.

Expected to collect the full $17 million he's due. Not a bad severance package. Love his quote about eating a burger. He should eat pretty well!

I disagree with LSU given that they gave him basically the same leash as Chad Morris only Ed wasn't embarrassing and actually won them a title.

Expect them to grab Billy Napier at bargain rates (he makes almost $7 million less per year than Orgeron was being paid) before somebody else does. He's already showing the kind of job he can do in their back yard with far fewer resources

Either LSU or Lane Kiffin have floated his name. Probably Kiffin.

Have you read the full story? Orgeron was becoming a liability and the program was clearly headed in the wrong direction (many behind the scenes things now documented). I'm born, raised, and live in Louisiana....O had to go.
