Cole Beasley deactivates Twitter account

The former SMU receiver has decided to get off Twitter, calling the decision "a weight lifted."

Also, it's not possible that he's 32, is it?

When I got my lifetime ban, it was a weight lifted as well. Twitter is a toxic environment.

Facebook isn’t any better. Best to unplug from both. They bring out the worst in people.

Facebook is bad but at least there's less anonymity to where people aren't as bad.

Facebook really is used as more or less a way to stay connected with old friends.
