I really like our new HC and the new staff. They all seem to be high energy and capable, in addition to being excellent recruiters. Certainly more optimistic that I was a few weeks ago.

We will always be a stepping stone for better opportunities for head coaches, never a long term destination until we get invited to a more visible and competitive conference. I wish some of you would stop taking it personally and quit being disillusioned that a head coaching job is anything but that particularly since they will be coaching in a sub par low level conference with a bunch of mid-lower-tier schools (athletics wise) once the mass exodus of Cincy, Houston, Memphis, etc. takes place. Your hatred of Sonny Dykes is misdirected. Instead, place your critical focus toward Mr. Rick Hart, a miserable failure and incompetent AD.

I got plenty of hate to go around though Hart is incompetent and Sonny a traitorous lout.

I could have lived with SD going anywhere except TCU.

I don’t hate Sonny. I think he’s a lying jackwagon. And stop pretending a coach leaving is the problem. It’s leaving for TCU. There is no precedent for a move like that, and he torpedoed the second half of the season doing it.

And took the top SMU recruits with him to TCU. He stopped working for SMU mid season.

He actually started working *against* SMU mid-season. But according to some, he’s a super duper great gentleman and all.

TCU selection committee must have missed the end of the Houston game.

They missed a lot of late October and November and December results.

Good.
