"Our got what he wanted...?" I didn't know our got was wanting this.

Some will say the future AAC is barely a step up from the intramural sports Pye wanted for SMU but the truth is it will be a group of schools with a talent level more comparable to SMU's. I just hate to see Ford Stadium expanded because we aren't going to need more seats when we can't fill the 32k that currently exist.

Preston might fill those seats....I think he may be our best QB ever. Total impact

Preston could be. Team rallied around him, and almost got us into OT against a top 20 team.

Oh yeah, they were in the NCAA playoff last year.
May the forth be with us.

This. For example, we pay millions of dollars for dumb stuff but still pay some of our athletic trainers (who work ~12hr days almost every day forever) like 35k/yr.

Maybe we could hold off, and save the hill until a P5 or upcoming P4 invite.

I would like to keep the hill as well, as it is so uniquely SMU. Ford could use an all-over facelift.

But I think the main thing with building on the hill is getting back on top of the always escalating recruiting war. There’s a reason why Sonny was demanding it and Rhett wants it.

Rewatched the game last night and was surprised to see how well our defense played. Maybe Symons and team have figured it out. Our offense let us down, but proud they came back in the 4th quarter to nearly tie it. BPS of course reared its ugly head and the pass rolled out of RDJ's arms. I'd like to see Stone start and win against Tulsa, but gotta trust the coaches on that one.
