Next Weekend / TCU

Postby GHammond » Sat Sep 14, 2024 8:51 pm

Apparently, big boy pants will be required. Hope we’re ready for these dudes as they look pretty solid tonight v UCF. And….in true SMU bps fashion, how long will FSU’s fade last? We could easily be 2-4 after the Louisville game. Feeling like we are heading for a UCF, UH, Cincy “first year in” type of campaign. Had such high hopes.

Wait ... you mean wins are harder to come by when moving to a better conference?
Weird.

Dude… we’ve been playing TCU for 100 years, and FSU sucks…..but I still grapple with BPS.

So both teams are in the same boat and really hungry for a win. Perfect scenario for a rivalry game

Poor frogs…I also couldn’t help but chuckle at the fact that every time they showed a city scene when cutting to commercial, they showed a view of the Dallas skyline.

I didn’t see the game, but I admit I enjoyed reading that the big directional school from Florida erased a 20 point deficit and won at the frogs house.

It was a fun one. My son and I watched purely to root against TCU. UCF's comeback was great. But our offense is such a work in progress right now that I'm not feeling super-optimistic about this weekend.
