That's very true. If Texas-OU were to leave Dallas, it will probably have a domino effect on the State Fair because odds are that the folks running the Grambling-PV game would rather have it in Houston at a nicer facility(Reliant) than to have to deal with the fossil that is the Cotton Bowl. Plus, the Houston folks will actually want them there and be willing to pay for it.

More precisely, losing Tx-OU means they won't do a full for upgrade the Cotton Bowl, which means the Cotton Bowl Game will almost certainly move to Jerry World in Arlington. Then, for just one game a year, the City of Dallas won't even keep up with the maintenance of the place (not that they are now), and then Grambling Prairie View will leave for Jerry World or Reliant. And then the best vendors will start to bail on the State Fair because the two biggest weekends are toast. And then the whole quality of the fair declines.

so Texas Tech has the largest Dallas Alumni base among UT, A&M and Tech according to tmustangp? Its good to see his lack of knowledge extends beyond high school recruiting.

TCU has already scheduled Texas for the '07 season.

Finalized.

Yup, now we can finally shut the damn frogs up and show them they can't actually beat Texas like they've been claiming for years. :P

Frog- hope that Texas game ends up better than the Tech game in which you gave up 70 points in Lubbock......

A fellow Frog has it right: Yeah, I do too... just like the rest of TCU's 2004 season. Bad chemistry, lack of senior leadership, and a lot of inexperience on defense. Tech wasn't the only team that shredded our defense. UAB and Louisville were easily as good.

Just another example of why people like you shouldn't consume your life on Pony Fans.
