I will be there with another alum flying in from Miami this weekend. Hoping to get a couple more friends out here.

Waiting on my tickets to be sent. I imagine now that the opponent is settled they're sorting out allotment.

It will be cold here! Dress warm. The stadium is open air and unless you're in a club level seat there's really not many places to warm up.


Hoping for the best but Clemson, despite 3 losses, is no easy out. I think the SMU D can do enough to contain their offense but can the same be said for the SMU O? Just excited to be in the biggest game in ages.

I'll be there and everyone should dress warmly.

While Clemson will have a lot of fans in attendance, I don't expect they'll have THAT many. After all, they lost at home to their rival on Saturday afternoon and only made it because of a huge upset. If they were 12-0/11-1, I could see them packing the stadium but they have got to be disappointed with how the second half of their season went.

As for the matchup, ALL the common opponent results favor SMU.
FSU - Clemson won by 16 on the road, SMU won by 26 at home.
Louisville - Clemson lost by 12 at home, SMU won by 7 on the road.
Pittsburgh - Clemson won by 4 on the road, SMU won by 23 at home.
Virginia - Clemson won by 17 at home, SMU won by 26 on the road.
Stanford - Clemson won by 26 at home, SMU won by 30 on the road.

Opponents just see the offense, but our defense is the story of our success. Dominating, and when not making the big plays. Rhett has shown a talent for keeping the team focused.

In fairness to Clemson, their lawsuit is entirely about TV deals and grants of rights that predate the SMU-Stanford-Cal additions. This is unlike FSU, who whined in court filings that SMU isn't good enough and is diluting their brand.

But Clemson did vote "no," along with uNC and FSU.

Dabo obviously has experience, but his players do not. This is not a top-tier Clemson team. Good - yes. Great - no. If SMU plays their game, D does their thing, and Jennings settles in, Smoo wins 31-14.
