I really wish we could just decline being on the effing CW and play the Baylor game at 7 pm. Duke also has an early September noon kickoff (against Illinois) but at least that will be on either ESPN or ABC.

I guess an 11 AM kickoff will be cooler than 7 PM, but at that time of year, it means kicking off at 96 degrees instead of 99, so ...

Make sure to bring a sweatshirt.

The bright orb straight overhead is worse than the slightly higher temperature, IMhO. Agree on the sweatshirt--it's important to cover one's knees from the sun while sitting, and goodness help anyone who wears long pants.

I had to leave after the first quarter at last years early game because of the heat. Fortunately it was on tv and I could watch in the comfort of my motel room.

Doubtful I’ll be attending an 11am game in September. As Sergeant Murtaugh would say, “I’m gettin’ too old for this [deleted].”
