How's that been working out for us lately? And of course, you don't address my actual point: "Is [the schedule] significantly easier than what our competition is throwing out there? No."
Oh, and you said you were in favor of softening the schedule.

Stallion is once again wrong, their 2005 schedule was anything but easy, Northwestern, Michigan, Miami of Ohio, and Toledo are all tough games. Much harder than the top 4 teams we played last year.
Also, USA Today's final schedule difficulty for 2005, SMU -- 88, Northern -- 60.

Stallion, You said that they play an easier schedule than we ever had, and I am simply stating they have a more difficult schedule than us last year, not to mention this year. They at this point, are a better program than us and the too get it done with 2 and 3 star recruits WITH academic issues, and a [deleted] facility.
That being said, I wouldn't mind being that competitive within our own conference and with big ten teams.

Sorry. Stallion was saying that SMU's schedule is the easiest it (SMU) has ever had by a mile (or at least 3327 feet).
