Anyone heard what happened with McMurtray after the mini-camp?

I heard he has competition from another kicker who couldn't make it to mini camp due to a family issue. He is supposed to come back and tryout at a later date. I think Chris has to just sit and wait.

You're right -- Shaun Suisham, who was one of the assembly line of kickers who went through Valley Ranch last year, was supposed to be at the mini-camp but missed it because of a funeral. He was expected to come back to Valley Ranch to kick for the Dallas coaches.
