EastStang is right, CUSA is better this year. Tulsa and Memphis are the only teams that lost significant players. UTEP lost two backs, but have a highly recruited transfer stepping in. UCF could be a really good team.

For the record, that winless season was under PB's watch.
thanks i know i was on the team... my point was that PB is turning the program around with "HIS GUYS." People are complaining about a possible 6 win season, when we're only 2 seasons removed from a 0 win season. So the logic is that if Texas goes 11-1 this year that's a step back and they should fire Mack Brown, regaurdless if they're starting a fresh. at QB and have some major holes to fill on defense... Sounds kind of like us. Baby steps... Baby Steps in recruiting... Baby Steps on the field... Progress is still progress! if we fire PB then we have to bring in somebody with a different philosophy, different offensive/defensive scheme, different types of recruits. SMU's fans and admin need to realize that you can't turn around a program over night. Sure some teams have a rare moment and have a winning season and get to a bowl, but PB is about having a winning PROGRAM, not a winning TEAM! (there is a difference in the two.
