SmooPower wrote:My SMU team is currently 4-1. I rolled through OOC (replacing TT with WMich and Arkansas State with TCU) before dropping a game against Tulane 13-10. I only had 35 passing yards in that game.
My results:
Texas Tech (simmed) L 42-24
UNT (played) W 38-14 (don't have these scores in front of me right now but I think that's what it was)
SHSU (simmed) W 45-10
Arkansas State (played) W 49-28.
Tulane (simmed) W 28-17.
so then I'm thinking Yeah...we're 4-1, we're doing pretty good...but...
UTEP (simmed) L 38-14
Marshall (simmed) L 21-17
so then I decided to start playing some games again...
East Carolina (played) W 61-12
UAB (played) W 63-14
Houston (played) W 56-9.
So here we sit at 7-3 with Rice and Tulsa to go. About where I thought we would be and should be. I also have a chance at landing two 5-star prospects and a myriad of 4-star prospects.

I blocked a field goal to preserve a 21-20 win over TCU (replaced Sam Houston State).
Anyone finding it a little easy to block field goals in this game...I get about one or two a game provided they get within range (Beat TT 64-0 with 8 picks)

They are a lot easier. I've blocked one and I'm horrible.
Just my two cents.

I haven't blocked one yet, but I haven't had many opportunities. I tend to keep opponents out of the red zone. When they score, it is usually a long TD when I switched players at the wrong moment and the opposing receiver is wide, wide open and I can't catch up.

So in other words, you are SMU.

You should live-blog coverage of that game, but I guess you'd need another set of hands.

What difficulty are you guys playing on? You need to be on all-american to get a decent representation of skill differences. Less than that and the other team is getting penalties. (on Heisman difficulty the computer cheats)

Currently 6-0. I am lcurrently on the road using my Sprint Broadband card to type this. Left the 360 at the house so can't keep playing. I have a ways to go before I finish the season. Also decided to load the rosters before I got the dynasty going. Found the Ace formation with a Power Option is killing teams. Martin gets around the corner on the pitch and nobody has caught him yet. He is averaging close to 12 ypc. Also, having good luck passing out of the formation once the Defense commits to stopping the run. Running at All-American and my toughest opponent was easily TT but they could not stop DM from running all over them.
