TCU-Tech, and UTEP-Tech before that, are why SMU will win in Lubbock.
Tech isn't even planning on breaking a sweat on Sept. 2.

Its tough when you dislike each school. However, I suspect that TT might stumble against us (although a win is not at all predicted), and Leach knows that Bennett can still throw a right. Against TCU with their hype and great year last year, TT will come to Ft. Worth sky high and once a Raider whoopin starts, Leach won't let up. So, I can see us not losing to Tech as bad as TCU losing to Tech. Leach knows that a huge number against a top 25 team means something in the ratings. Beating SMU is merely expected.

Bennett mentioned the fracas between him and Leach at the last TT-SMU game during the Kick-Off Luncheon earlier this week. He said, as payback, nothing would make him happier than to 'take a knee' in Lubbock to run out the clock for a Mustang victory on Sept. 2.

Well, I for one cannot wait to see Willis taking a knee at Tech.

I'll just be happy if we don't go for it on 4th down right before halftime.

That's funny. Everytime someone brings up the fracas to Leach, he always says it was a heat of the moment thing and Bennett is a good guy.
Besides all that, a lot of fans, players, and coaches for TCU and OU do a lot of talking but our players and coaches only want to talk about SMU.

Every time I've seen/heard it mentioned either in person or a TTech message board, the response is, "yeah, well Leach would have had [whatever their strength coach's name is] whip Bennett's [deleted]!" A tad sophomoric, but humorous nonetheless. We have a pretty tough SOB for a strength coach too.

That is posters on a sports board. I'm talking about Mike Leach's response.

Bennett has dismissed the post-game fight last time the teams met, too, and the coaches reportedly are friends. I expect more will made of it by the fans than the coaches or players.
