That's why we need to go back to royal blue.

Tech shirts.
SMU skins. Especially our coeds. Now we will stand out in the crowd.
I like the idea... unfortunately it would be much more effective for home games, seeing as road games generally have very few coeds and far too many of us older folks.

My question is, if some of the Tech fans wear their other color (black) isn't it possible that it could be mistaken for blue from the field, and if so, will players on both teams be too confused to go on. My suggestion would be to pull out your white shirt, blue shirt, and red shirt and determine which will be cooler and wear it. Our contingency no matter what color shirts will not be large enough to make any differnece in the outcome. Those of you that go just scream loud when appropriate. Now last time we played Tech in Dallas, I suggested we wear red in order that the team would not be deflated by seeing the larger number of red shirts versus SMU blue in our home stadium. I still go by that as long as we are outdrawn at home.
You are right, although there will be alot of red, most of the gameday shirts being sold in Lubbock right now are black. So there will be alot of black in the stands on the 2nd..

They're selling black game day shirts for a game in early September in Lubbock? Isn't it likely to be about 100 degrees?
Score one for the value of a Tech degree! They make 'em smart out there. Maybe they can shut off all the water fountains in the stadium, too. Good thinking, TTU.
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"
