Some observations from the game.
We had some questions going in, here are some that appeared to be answered.
PUNTER?Thomas Morestead did a good job with a 43.3 avg including a shank.
FIELD GOALS? Made one, and missed a 49 yarder into the wind.But he looks good.
KICK OFFS? Kellis Cunningham put'em into the end zone.
QB? I thought Justin Willis looked calm and poised, even better scrambler than I thought he would be. This will be the first time that he has film of himself to look at, and he should realize he needs to stay in the pocket a little longer at times. I think he will be fine.
CB? The coaches feel pretty good about Jonathan Lindley, Devin Lowrey was the other starter, but in the second half Bryan McCann seemed to take over for Devin, and did a good job. He was one on one with Joel Filani a lot of the time, and held his own. I feel we have found a very good cb for the future.
OL- I thought they did a pretty good job of pass protection most of the time, good pass coverage caused most of the scrambles.
RB's- as far as the backups go, Fiitzgerald looks good, and Mapps kind of reminds me of Shanderick Charles.

I agree about McCann I thought he looked great for a young kid on a receiver of Filani's caliber

i thot we did not play to win, we played not to lose

i would like to see the offense open up more
