I am concerned about the sloppy nature of our play with 3 fumbles. Fortunately we only lost one and ASU fumbled 4 times and lost them all.
I am encouraged by our line play and this stat is a big indicator: we have twice as many sacks as our opponents ranking in the top 35 in both sides of that stat. Tulane is allowing over 2.5 times as many sacks as they make and rank 90th or lower in both stats. If we control the lines and are efficient in our offense then we should win. And Stallion there is an "if" associated with that. Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
One advantage SMU may enjoy is a field goal kicker that can hit 50 yard field goals. That is a mighty potent weapon. It allows our offense to be good but not great (just a couple of years ago we would go for 4th and long because of the inconsistency of our kickers). In very close games, the kicking game often is the difference. Ask Alabama is a decent kicker isn’t important.
Hillarious...It's the Fighting Myopics vs. Optimists
What is the Tulane board web address?
I think it's http://yogwf.com/index.php?
What is SMU's all time record against Tulane? I seriously can't remember ever beating them. I'm sure we have, just can't remember.

let's just hope Tulane doesn't come out in this game with the same emotion and fire that New Orleans did last night. Given the probability the two teams are fairly equal athletically, I don't know how you prepare a team to match the adrenaline that was pumping thru New Orleans last night. Just ask the Falcons. That game was over early. I fear the same could happen to SMU Saturday
