The Miners have a habit of committing brainless penalties that show the markings of an undisciplined team.

For instance in their game against Texas Tech, the Red Raiders ran two untimed plays when regulation play expired. One was a personal foul. Can't remember the second but it led to Tech trying a 50-yard attempt to win the game. Of course, Tech won in OT.

Basically, UTEP gave them 30 free yards. Keep an eye on that.
