According to this story, the stalker/victim visited a team gathering and refused to leave when asked to leave. "The alleged victim smirked at him when asked to leave a team gathering, and Willis 'overreacted,' he said."
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent ... b68c1.html
According to this story, the stalker/victim was at a party in another football player's apartment (that implies this person was invited).
"A Dallas police report says the trouble started at an off-campus party at another football player's apartment.
According to the report, Justin Willis and a friend entered the party, approached a male and said, "I heard you been talking (expletive)." It then said Willis called the victim a slur used for homosexuals."

Now that's a major rift between these stories. The first lays great blame on the victim for following Justin to this apartment and refusing to leave the property. The second says that Justin found the victim at a party and proceeded to unleash his rage right then and there.
I fear this will take a while since apparently there is a great difference between the police report and Justin's account of the events.

It's not where it took place. They both say at a football player's apartment, but it's whether or not the stalker/victim was invited or not. Personally, I have a hard time believing that any of the football players would invite this stalker to a party they are having knowing the ongoing problems between Justin and this guy.

It has been said that this was not a players apartment but in past threads it was said to be a football party.

The report filed by the "victim" with the SMU police later in the morning said it was at his party. However, the report filed by the Dallas police who responded to the incident stated it was at the apartment of a football player. Do you see a trend here?

PK, no need to use quotes here, Willis has admitted he beat the crap outta the guy, and the cops said he had a one inch gash on his head to prove it.

I think Willis is the victim of a crime here...the victim of a stalker. It's like someone tries to rob you and instead you beat him to a pulp. Is the attempted robber a victim?

That is hyperbole. Willis admitted to hitting the guy. It is also true that the guy himself stated he was not badly hurt.

Two things:
perunapower wrote:.... According to this story, the stalker/victim was at a party in another football player's apartment (that implies this person was invited)....
Attending a party does not indicate that person was invited. I crashed more than a few when I was in school (and since).
But FINALLY, there's something funny here: two conflicting stories, one on the DMN website, and one on WFAA's website .... and they're both owned by Belo!
