The Cowboys placed running back Tyson Thompson on injured reserve because of a broken left ankle suffered Sunday and re-signed running back Keylon Kincade.

Kincade has spent parts of the last three seasons on the Cowboysâ€™ practice squad. He was released from the practice squad this year on Sept. 6. In the preseason, Kincade ran 12 times for 36 yards.

so is Skyler Green injured, or did the Cowboys actually opt for KK over the former all-SEC kick returner recently moved to RB?

Skyler isn't injured, he just sucks. He was drafted as a KR and cant return kicks. They even moved him from WR to RB. I'm happy for Keylon. He has been in the Cowboys system since leaving SMU and has worked hard for his opportunity, injury or no injury. Plus it's exciting to have a Mustang on my favorite team, or heck, on any NFL team, although I have a feeling that atleast 1 or 2 on the current team will make NFL rosters in the future as well
