I like the 16-17,000 projection and it will likely depend on how many Houston brings. I was surprised to be able to buy 4 tickets near mid-field on the visitors side just a couple of weeks ago. That tells me we could be looking at less than 15,000 although those coming for homecoming activities usually get grouped down near the gaol line on the home side, right?

Speaking of attendence, I was told by a TCU alum that goes to most of their games that the attendence figures they put out are total BS. He said that there are "more people in the parking lot during the games than are in the stadium". When I told him that they said 30,000 for Wyoming, he honestly laughed. He said 15,000 at most. I am just reporting.

Congratulations on having a TCU alum friend but how do you explain the 8-9,000 that showed up in Ford last year, the huge number of TCU fans that have gone to their bowl games and the sellout against Tech. a couple of weeks before the game. SMU sold about 15,000 less tickets. I've been to enough SMU and TCU games in Ft Worth and Dallas-all of them as a matter of fact-since 1970 to know TCU has about twice as many fans than SMU even though it is a smaller school. For Road Games between the two schools TCU bring 3 times as many fans. But if it makes you feel better TCU sucks.

Right before Homecoming King/Queen are announced: 16,000.
After Homecoming King/Queen are announced: 8,000.
Sad, but true... at least what I have observed the last 2 years.

Thanks for that valuable "reporting". I thought we had around 30K with our usual 5K plus in the parking lots.

Actually stallion, again, all I was doing is reporting what HE said. I thought it sounded odd myself but he said there was no way they had as many people as what they were reporting. Were you at any of the games this year or did you read about it on Rivals?
