The payback game was in 1992 when we beat you 41-16 with several of the players who were on the team that lost 95-21.

Hey, I'll be the first to admit, I hate losing to SMU.

Let's face it, the UH fan base has been terrible at supporting the program. No debating it. Sadly, just about when we think the ship is turning, attedance takes a turn for the worse.

This year, we lost to ULaLa for the first time since 1948! Ouch!!!! And supposedly, this was our best team since 1996. Sure thing!

That said, taking all of the above truths into consideration, there are STILL a few programs out there worse than ours. Losing to them stings terribly!!!! UH fans have very few expectations these days. We have very few teams we EXPECT to beat. Now that we can scratch ULaLa off the list, you guys are one of the few teams left we expect to beat.

Over the past 15 years, our few meetings have really been about who sucked less rather than who was better. Kudos to you guys for sucking less last year. This year though, I think we're actually pretty decent and I really don't expect to suck at all this game. SMU has sucked less this year than usual. So, our next game should be a contest of UH, who is playing better than usual, and SMU... a team sucking less than usual. Taking this into consideration, I think we can continue to expect a win over your football program.

If UofH can't beat SMU they deserve a bowl--the Toilet Bowl.

I agree. Hell, if Ohio State lost to SMU I would say that is probably enough to disqualify them from a bowl game.
