Thoughts on the game

Y'all have a great stadium and a beautiful campus.

I know how y'all feel know, about like I felt after our game last year. The better team won. Y'all are heading in the right direction. The hardest part of a turnaround is getting the team to expect wins. We seem to have finally gotten it through our heads this year. That takes time.

Your quarterback is going to be really good if he learns to control his emotions and occasionally throw the ball away. Don't know about the sweep on fourth and one, that seemed like a bad call, but no worse than going for it on 4th-and-16.

Y'all did a great job of pressuring Kolb. I really thought he was dead in the endzone and thought he avoided three to four more sacks.

Look forward to next year. And yes, Alridge will be back.

Thanks. It was a tough loss, as you can see from all the defeatist attitudes that have reappeared. Whenever much of your offense is freshmen they are going to make mistakes. That's just the way it works.

I wish he would have been sacked in the endzone. Would have probably put the nail in the coffin for you guys. But it wasn't meant to be, it was a very exciting, up and down ride of a game. We just got the short end of the stick this game.
