Getting info from a player is more credible than the DMN.

Players tell players what's wrong. Players and coaches tell the media what they want people to hear.

That may be true, but why say that a player is probable when he is done for the season. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Well, when the DMN and/or PB confirm your story, don't forget to pat yourselves on the back.

As far as I'm concerned, he's playing until Phil says he's not.

By the way, why don't you guys just go call Kragthorpe's office and leave a voice mail. Flat out stupid!!

If a player is on crutches...he won't be on the field in 6 days.

Let's hope for the best...

50/50 means "awaiting doctor's notice" not OMGOSH HE DIED GOT SHOT HOSPITAL DEATHRAY LASERS BANG
The seperated shoulder injury, which when i received my information was also awaiting doctor's opinion, is not a painless, easily recovered injury. Finished isn't an unlikely specualtion, given the shoulder was actually seperated during that prognosis.
As for Sanders' crutches, it's pretty obvious if someone is on crutches.

I am not making any remark as to Sander's injury but I will say that I sprained a knee once and was put on crutches during the week just to ease the leg and was full speed for game time. Again, I know nothing about this particular injury to Sanders.

From today's DMN:

http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/s ... e6026.html

Eman is still questionable for the Tulsa game, but the MRI showed no major ligament damage.

I am very glad to hear that he has no ligament problems. Those would be very painful and take a long time to heal.

Well, if you are connected, you should have had the common sense to know that you should have waited for the doctor's opinion before you posted something saying, HE'S DONE or HE'S OUT.

And for the crutches, mrydel hit it on the mark. They are also used as a precautionary measure to take the pressure off the leg.

A lot of what you see from the field and in the training room is designed to stabilize the injury. What you see is not what you get.

And because of what's been posted in the DMN today, once again, we're running around posting stuff that IS NOT accurate on player injuries.

I am so sick of the irresponsibility.

In PB's conference, he said Sanders is questionable (they were afraid he damaged his ACL, which he thankfully did not), Haywood is doubtful (he dislocated his shoulder, Adrian says he feels good, they are going to practice him tomorrow and see where that goes), Henderson's recovery was hampered when a redshirt freshman landed on his ankle during practice but he is expected back this game, and Bonds is probable (he has a some swelling, but that just goes with the injury). So there ya go. No one is officially done for the year. PB isn't just telling us what we want to hear. That excuse is full of bull. I would much rather we all wait and see what doctors and trainers tell the coaches and players, rather just jump to conclusions. Gossip is for knitting circles and beauty salons, so leave it there.

Finally. We have the EXACT story. To the other posters, use the good sense that the good lord gave you.
