Half my family are coon@sses, probably explains a lot. Good people. Baton Rouge and Dallas--not better or worse, just different. LA gets more real as you go south from there. Wouldn't miss it for the world...

Didn't say that. Said I lived in UP and Plano for 11 years, and wouldn't go back to DFW-burbia for anything. I LOVE HP/UP/SMU area. It's one of my favorite places in the world.
