Note that there are 7 bowls there...NO Bowl, Birmingham Bowl, Liberty Bowl, GMAC Bowl, FW Bowl all have CUSA tie-ins, but there is also the Texas Bowl and Hawaii Bowl on there, neither of which have CUSA tie-ins this year (though both have tie ins with CUSA next year). What's up with that?

two bowls I believe Houston and Hawaii have ties to 3 conferences split over 5 years for example only. CUSA is guaranteed to play in those games a set number of years over the contract period.

Do the Mustangs have an way to get to those bowl if the other conferences do not qualify enough teams?

Hawaii Bowl gets a CUSA team this year if the Pac-10 can't fill their slots, but I believe there are enough Pac-10 teams eligible now.
