Tulsa Playing Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda Game

Postby Stallion » Sat Nov 18, 2006 7:41 pm

...that's how the game is played. You make a bad play or play a bad half-its just one play and 1/2 the game. Tulsa this week is playing the game a lot of SMU fans like to play. Tulsa fans I'm sure are saying they woulda won if they didn't fumble the Kickoff or if they coulda stopped SMU on their long clinching TD drive or if they coulda played like the first half. They didn't and SMU made the plays. Woulda, coulda and shoulda is for the LOSERS!

And for people that have the intellectual capacity to analyze the game on a deeper level than just the base statistucs.

I heard one Tulsa fan say Justin Willis was the only reason we won. Justin had a great game but I guess that fan failed to notice that our defense held Tulsa to just 1 first down in the second half until their final attempted drive which ended with an incomplete pass on 4th and 10 from mid field.

thats amazing...Tulsa had their way with our defense in the 1st half, to hold them to just 1 first down in the 2nd is mind boggling. I was talking to someone before the Mavs game and told them SMU got killed (I had to leave at halftime), he said "you didnt hear? They won" Should've seen the look on my face
