This truly has been a rollercoaster season for the mustangs with all the up and downs this team has come across.

We had to endure WILLIS GATE, a dismal loss to UNT, come from behind loss to UH, and many more but this season has had its bright spots...first 6 win season in a decade, a ESPN nationally televised game, Willis to Sanders, and not to forget the 3rd best comeback in school history yesterday.

I didn't have much faith in this team when we lost to UNT, I thought we would win in Carolina but Pinkney put up 400yds on us, I thought we would pull out the UH game but I knew yesterday that the ponies would win no matter what they had to do. This season has been a heart attack waiting to happen but PB has managed to keep this team heart beating rite.

A win this coming Saturday means a bowl trip in over 2 decades for us, something that a lot of people couldn't imagine after the UNT game. These boys have played their hearts out all year long but have yet to play what I call a "complete" game from whistle to whistle for 60 min.

I see them doing that against Rice.

Oust the Owls...Beat Rice...Go Mustangs...bowl game here we come.
