BAD karma to wish injury on another player...
I drafted Larry Johnson in our fantasy draft this year and one of my buddies posted on the message board that "he hopes he breaks his leg" and he is now in last place in ALL four of his fantasy leagues...beware the bad karma ![]() Let me explain something to you. I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me.
Indeed. Yay! Clement will play! That means we will be able to beat Rice, and they won't have the excuse that their QB is hurt. ^good karma
Okay, I retract the bad karma. Now I just hope his collarbone was broken last week.
Uh let's hope Bennett also prepared the team for the other 2 QB's. Good God, why do I even have to type this.
The Chronicle quoted a Rice WR as saying that we really don't stand a chance against Rice.
Maybe we should let PB know, so we can save all the money on team accomodations and cancel the game? Does anyone in Houston realize that we have the same record? Apparently not if you read the local papers. Derail the Frogs!
So I was watching College Gameday today and Fowler mentioned Dillard and the Rice-SMU game and said "keep an eye on that game"....maybe tonight we'll be mentioned again for beating Rice and going to our first bowl game in 20+ years.
The quote from the Rice WR:
"After everything we've been through this season, all the ups and downs, we feel that coming away with the victories we've come away with in the fashion we've come away with them, it's somewhat divine intervention," Owls senior receiver Mike Falco said. "I don't know how everybody else is feeling, but I don't think that after (beating) UAB and the winning streak that we went on — beating UTEP at UTEP on their homecoming, beating Tulsa ... in double overtime, beating ECU here with a field goal to win it — I don't think SMU, who hasn't won here in two decades, is going to come in here and even stand a chance, to be honest. I think everybody's got that same type of confidence and belief." What say we make him eat his words??????
