Agreed -- thank you to all of the seniors. Joe Sturdivant, Justin Rogers, Adrian Haywood, Bobby Chase, Brandon Bonds, Ryan Kennedy, Darrin Johnson, etc. You guys have been the best senior class in 20 years. Here's hoping NCState helps you reach the bowl you deserve.

I agree. A lot of folks say that 6-6 and backing into a bowl is not worthy of SMU. Well, these seniors have been through a lot including 0-12. I think a bowl game, even backing into one would be nice for them and help the team overall also. No one will remember the "backing in" except the teams that are left out. It would be nice to be the chosen one for a change.
That said, I hope we can learn how to score form the 1 yard line by next year.

These guys deserve a bowl. There is no such thing as "backing into one." Ask any pro team who waited on another team to lose to get them into the playoffs if it mattered if they "backed into it."
As they say in England " Them are the breaks."
Lord knows these guys deserve something to fall their way for once.

Just got back from the game. It was painful to look those guys in the eyes. They gave up so much of themselves this year and deserved better than what they got. My hat is off to all of them. Ryan, Dustin, Brandon, Joe, you all have a lot to hold your head up about. Thanks guys and heres to ecu and marshall losing.

They busted their asses to the very end. And a huge thank you to the parents of the players who made each road trip and cheered like crazy.

My hat goes off to all of you as well. A bunch of overachievers that deserve more than what the school has given them. But I do want to make this clear we still need talent. All of these guys were recruited during the times SMU really sucked. What does that tell you. Only Sturdivant and Bonds had other reasons for coming (family).

Good point -- the Pony parents have been sensational, as always, and this year's senior class has some of the best. Thanks for sending your sons to play for our team, and for being such loyal fans.
