Did he throw the ball to our tight ends today? Maybe to the great American hero Sledge once? Maybe Pellerin?

He had not thrown a good ball over 15 yards all day.

Ok, no receiver how about throwing out of bounds instead of forcing a play

I'd like to retract my displeasure with Bennett for not speaking with the media. The picture they have on dallasnews.com looks plenty painful. I just assumed he wasn't in much pain since he came out and coached the second half, and you can't blame me for being cynical that a coach would use an excuse like that to avoid the media who with out a doubt would be asking him about his job status.

Like I said earlier, I hope he's not in too much pain and I wish him a speedy recovery.

J-Will

It is hard to throw to your tightends when they are blocking all the time. The running plays were schematic and had nothing to do with blocking. All you have to do these days in 75% of the situations is get in the way. Our linemen know where to go, but when they get there, they usually get there asses kicked by 3 down linemen. J-Will needs to spend more time with the other receivers. He and Emmanuel have a good relationship. I think some of the other guys resented that. We have talent now and need to move on to the next level. Good luck to all the seniors, but we can now start playing some football!!

The fact that your coach can sustain a hit like that, and then coach the second half, remains honorable.

yourself with a severe enough shoulder injury that you couldn't make it
beause you got carted off to the nearby hospitals including MD Anderson

I talked to someone who was sitting a lot closer than I was, and he said Coach Bennett got absolutely drilled on that play. Here's to you, Coach. Thanks for fighting through the pain, and get better soon.

I don't quite follow you.

My original post was from what I saw on the horribly jumbled Rice broadcast (way worse than what we get at Ford) and what I heard on the Ticket broadcast. Once I read the article and saw the picture I retracted my statement.
