It's been rumored that he wants to get back into coaching. Don't think the AD job at Wisconsin is what he wants it to be.

He was a Notre Dame assistant. Orisini's a Notre Dame graduate.

Plus, Alvarez went to Wisconsin when people told him it was a place where coaches went to die.

Now, this is wild speculation. But we would be getting a coach from the best conference in America. Run the football. Play defense. The Big 10 way.

Thinking that he might take a BCS gig like Bama but not the job at SMU. Every one knows what happened last time we got a Big 10 guy in here.

He's also been linked to the Miami gig because he is friends with the UofMiami Prez.

Yeah Dee was at Wisconsin with him so I know she is at least keeping Alvarez as an option at Miami.

I am sorry but you will have to do your own SMU historical research at this time. The good news is you only have 15 coaches to guess.

If you mean Hayden Fry, OK. But he went to Iowa after SMU.
