you guys have an amazing ability to miss the trees from looking at the Forrest. Of course, SMU is going to have trouble signing a JUCO or Division 1A Transfer QB. There are 21 other positions on the field. This is a discussion about a Model of competition not a discussion about who should be the QB at SMU.

There have got to be some good OL/DL kids out there that are standing in line behind some big kids at the BCS schools. They would help SMU more than any skill position prospect.

I dont know what the problem is, but smu should get a lot more transfers than it does in football and basketball alike. I understand why guys dont pick us out of high school. but I would think smu would be a magnet for all the dallas talent that leaves the area for college. a certain number of those guys get homesick or unhappy with playing time at the big schools they go to. we get very few of em to come back home. not being a winner is an issue, but most of the time these guys want playing time.

I still question our ability to bring in JUCO players?
