Remember, Oregon is playing BYU tonight... On a local Las Vegas sports radio today, they had some clips from an interview with Oregon head coach Mike Bellotti.
Question: Did you call any other MWC teams to get some information on BYU?
Bellotti: Um, help me with who's in the MWC.
Question: Could BYU play in the Pac-10?
Bellotti: No. BYU has some fine players and some would be stars in the Pac-10, but as a team, no, BYU couldn't. BYU lost to Arizona, a mid level Pac-10 team."

TCU ought to be on the phone right now trying to schedule those guys. Imagine the two ugliest uniforms in Division 1 on the same field.

Unfortunately my froggie friend, Bellotti's right. Overall, the Pac 10 is a much better conference than the Mountain Waste. Congrats on your win over NIwho?

Hmmm, did we go to a bowl this year?

If you are referring to SMU, no we did not go to a bowl this year (just in case you hadn't heard). But I was actually referring to the PAC-10 being a better conf than the mtw. I don't think many people will disagree, even if Oregon loses to BYU.

I agree the Pac 10 is better, he just did not need to lay smack down on the Mountain West. It easily could have been CUSA instead of the Mountain West that was insulted.

I never said the Mountain West Conference was as good, or even better, than the Pacific Ten Conference..., however, some opinions need not be voiced, a la the above coach's.

Hopefully, Belotti shuts his mouth after tonight. What a pathetic display by the Ducks.

Hell, I'll put his foot in his mouth for him. How embarrassing for UO. They clearly have no heart or desire to play in this game.

Even after the smack down on UO that idiot coach was still running his mouth saying how his opinion hadn't changed and that BYU still couldn't compete in the PAC 10. What a moron.

Bellotti may very well be correct in his assessment of BYU. However, he failed to mention that Oregon can't compete in the PAC-10 either.
