UT OU

Does anyone think that the UT OU game will hurt attendance at the SMU game this weekend?

I know of a number of people going to both games.

11AM TX-OU & 6PM SMU-SJS start times make it easy to make both.

I have several friends from both schools coming in town who will be attending both games. A lot of people (especially Dallas natives) are interested in experiencing on-campus football at SMU. Should be a decent turnout, especially with the 'appropriate' weather.

OK, here's the deal. If you want to see OU or UT, fine. But do not miss -- or even be late -- for THE game. Be there early, and be noisy for the ENTIRE game. All SMU students and alums should make sure their priorities are in order. It's OK to be a fan of another school, but SMU is OUR SCHOOL. So if need be, watch the OU-Texas game on TV (you'll have a better view of the game, there's no line in the bathroom, the beer in the fridge isn't $5 per, and you don't have to pay $15 to park). The get to The Boulevard (bring a jacket - NO EXCUSES for leaving) and help the Ponies beat San Jose State.
