SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Ok, it is now the month of October, and SMU can finally start winning. The football Gods that prevent us from winning in the month of september are beyond us, and we are now in c ontrol of our destiny. Lets beat the sh.. out of San Jose State.

Prediction: McCown throws for 380, two scores (and one pick), and runs for two more touchdowns. Kevin Garrett and Jonas Rutledge each have one interception (and Rutledge returns his for a touchdown).

Unfortunatly I am too in touch with reality and I guess I am going to spoil the fun, but I don't see two interceptions in one game in the near future.
