am in town on business. went by stadium to see companies new sky box. acceptable.

currently they have sold 37,000 tickets. Walk up gets them about 3 or 4 thousand more. If they go over 40,000, that is very good for Tech first game againest non conference opponent. The more to drown in the loss.

did play new campus golf course yesterday. Very very nice. they moved so much dirt, and have 12 feet deep sand traps

Jeske,

It is my understanding that new golf course is not open to the general public until 9/1. Am I wrong or did you get to play the course as "non-general public?"

it is open to public. they had a Chamber tourney on Monday that I played in.

I guess you have to see the course. You know how flat it is out there. There are places in the fairway that you can't even see the hospital next door. That's how much dirt they moved. We played from the tips and it was over 7200 yards.

They are so cocky about the game, love nothing better than to beat them by 14 points. It's amazing that they say the new QB will be better than Kingsbury. My question is then why couldn't he beat him out last year. I can see Jonas streaking in front of Francis for the interception and a TD. They do plan on using this 250lb running back to wear us down.

Dr Jeske
You make a good point about BJ Symons not beating out Kingsburry for the starting job the last three years. The reason some are saying our offense may be better is more based on the fact that he has better arm strength. With an under-utlized Carlos Francis (capable of getting open on the deep ball),rarely was his potential met last year. I personaly don't think he is better than Kingsburry but that he brings more to the table. A lot of Tech fans on Raiderpower.com are saying that to expect a few more interceptions from Symons but that he will make up for it with the big plays. I honestly can not assess his potential due to not being able to see him practice. I am just going by what I have heard and watching him play in some mop-up situations. I have also heard that Havilli (the big back) is going to play some.

Dr. Jeskey was my father away from home. I spent many Sunday evenings with he and Marg having a nice meal and ice cream. Harold is a fantastic storyteller with an amazing wit. Unbelievable memory as well. He may know more about SMU athletics than any other person.

Great handle and my question to Dr. Jeske is are you wearing a red tie or a black tie?
