...and TCU doesn't have a QB yet so that can easily be a win.
Sheesh,
Apparently, you don't get out very much.

Heck I bet there is not a player on our team that was alive the last time we beat the mighty Rice Owlettes in Houston. Now that's either funny as hell or tragic or both. But don't be talkingstupid about easily beating TCU in Ft Worth under these circumstances

I just know the coaching staff at TCU was very disappointed in not getting a juco QB signed, which tells me they think the young QB's they have aren't where the coaches think they need to be. I am not predicting an SMU win over TCU, just saying I am not chalking it up for a loss either considering the TCU QB situation.

I cannot remember many easy wins . . .
Sports, and all that implies.

How many more days until the first game? Nothing like wild arse speculation going back and forth for the next 7 months to pass the time.

At least we've got the W going into the game instead of the other way around. I know the purple toads have this game circled on their calender. They'll be especially angry and looking for revenge after playing the Whorns. Let's see an inexperienced QB against the Whorns defense. Ouch!!

No way TCU can "easily" be a win. Beating them is possible, of course, and the lack of an established QB in FrogWorld is a great help, of course, but it's not like they're without talent over there. We still will be prohibitive underdogs.
