What happened to our gray shirts from last signing class...

the two grey shirts ,Smart and Strodtman (both of whom are linebackers) are currently enrolled in school and are working out with the team as scholarship players

Two guys many thought were bound for grayshirt status, WR Morgan Hudnall and DB Tyler Jones, ended up enrolling in the fall and redshirting the 2006 season. Wasn't there a third who went that route?

only other one I can think of is Kyle DeGroat (sp?), the undersized DL

Between white and black on the color spectrum.

of a color between white and black; having a neutral hue.

a gray shirt doesn't enroll in september, but enrolls in january and counts tecnically against following years class. if schollarship comes available, may move up and enroll sept at schools discretion as some of those above did.

Under NCAA rules (not SMU rules which we know are stricter) does a gray shirt have to qualify by August or by January? A kid who has some academic problems could theoretically gray shirt and qualify by January.
