Gee wasn't one of their reasons for moving to the MWC was because they would ONLY have Saturday games because of the relationship with CSTV. Looks like they're getting on VERSUS for those games on Thursday. Their two most important conference games on a short week to boot. I find that really amusing.

Yep, the Froggies are really [deleted] it up over on their message boards about the conspiracy and how the Mountain West caters to BYU and Utah.....well, duh, everyone told them that would happen but they went anyway and have to deal with it. TCU has done phenomenal things with their football program and can compete with the big dogs, however, it goes beyond competing and winning.....at the end of the day they are still a small private school in Ft. Worth that not many people care about, BYU and Utah bring the cash for the conference and have the majority of the fan support, no question that they run the show and have input into everything the conference does.

Best part of this is the Deja Vu factor.....SMU and TCU on national TV on CSTV with a later than usual kick off......reminds me of a September day back a coupla of years ago and a 21-10 score

Never said they did or didn't, and I would have to go with no, not many at all but that isn't what the post is about, its about no matter how good your team is, if you are a small school you are left to some extent to the whims and wishes of your bigger conference mates....

and I loved Land of the Lost...Chaka ruled and Sleestak scared me, except for that one brown one that was their friend.

Luckily our three opponents all have games on the preceeding Saturday so there shouldn't be a huge advantage either way. The overrding factor with the MWC was to avoid the Tuesday and Wednesday night games. I'm glad we've been able to do so.

I'm very realistic and have said on this board that MWC or CUSA...doesn't matter to me since neither one is BCS. My comment was that the MWC chose the deal with CSTV (whether good or bad) in large part because ESPN wanted the MWC to play Tues and Wed night games. (That's simply based on what I've read in a few places.) I'm not sure how that is revisionist history.
