We have absolutely no defense! So much for Bennett being a defensive guru.

If you don't realize the limited resources he has with his defense (devensive line is led by Adami, who's a stud but undersized, and Ieremia-Stansbury, who's played less than half a season on the line; freshmen figuring heavily in the defensive line rotation; freshmen and sophomores all over the secondary against a top-flight crew of receivers coached by a very good offensive coach), then you know even less about football than we thought. And it already was clear you didn't know much.

Seriously, chill out. I'm satisfied by our defense.

My problem is with Edmonson and with Bartel.

Bartel so far has been STUNNINGLY unimpressive. And Edmonson's play calling hasn't gotten much better since last season.
I'm not sure we'll score on offense again this game. Glad we have a week to prepare for Baylor.

Biggest surprise for me has been BJ Symons. What a stud. How can anyone criticize Leach's system?

So.....Cavan recruited ABSOLUTELY NOBODY????? Bennett has NO JR's / SR's?? No one other than HIS recruits who can play?? Come on, I don't buy that.....

You are all like, freaking out. What gives? I feel much better than I did after the Navy game. Tech's defense is TOUGH to stop, and Symons and the recievers are having a VERY good nite.

I'm just absolutely puzzled why we are going to KK when we obviously can't run the ball against them, not like we need to if we want to score points. Bartel needs to be throwing more. We never got the passing game established and when we didnt, we went right back to what DIDN'T work last year. KK is great, but we never won a game on KK's work alone.

I'd guess the rest of this game will basically be throwing practice for Bartel. He looks horrible.

The safeties, as always, are rather disappointing. We simply don't have enough speed there.

I don't see an improvement in Rutledge. He's hurt us if anything in this game. Humphrey had some nice highlights, but too many big plays are getting past the whole secondary. LB's seem to be solid with the exception of the one series that made D.D. Lee look like a true freshman.

*sigh*
