In my opinion we will not be improved in the secondary because we lost our best player there and the ones coming back gave up about a billion yards in passing last year.

Sturdivant was a run safety, but I think we have better athletes in the secondary this upcoming year

I agree, the athletes in the secondary this year will be better, along with the improvement of McCann and the Juco transfer of Rock Dennis. While they most likely won't set any NCAA records for fewest yards allowed, it should improved over last year by more than a small margin.

In my mind there are two areas that we really need to step up.. 1. Defensive line... last year I thought we had out best post DP line by far, what will we be able to put together this year? 2. Demyron Martin, can he become the back we all thought he was going to be after his Freshman year?....

the player that will step up is Justin Willis because he seems like that type of player

the play that NEEDS to step up the season is DeMyron Martin because a consistent running game will make us hard to stop

the game i'm looking forward to the most is UNT because payback will be sweet

the most critical game of the season is Rice because it will help toward bowl eligibility...and we lost to them last year

will the offense be improved this season, why or why not? Yes...more consistent running game, and Willis will have more experience

The defense will be decent, but will still look shaky against the pass
