Hey I'm a Caps fan, my hockey season has for all intents and purposes been over since late February. The only question for me was how many goals Alex O would score after that and whether we could catch the Flyers for the worst record. I so hope we get a real center next year and a real NHL blue-liner. Ovechkin and Semin make it interesting and with someone who can creatively get them the puck, it will be run and gun time.

Thanks, dude, I appreciate that. It looks like you have racked up a ton of post in my abnsese. Now if you could just rack up a ton of posts in my absinthe that would bt something, now wouldn't it?

It's not like I've been totally gone, just needed some time to take stock. It's hard work basing your entire mental health regime on a team that has just one winning season in thlast forty, err, twenty. You have to keep focused. It's like tantra, only different, because you hope that some day there will be a payoff. and we don't have Sting. You can't forget about Sting... he'll be watching you.

Oh, and I've been working on my movies. Can't forget that. Why the hell would a guy call himself ThadFilms if he hasn't finished one in 5 years? Okay so I did finish that little lark of a film for that local competion, but does that count. No I say! Damn the infidels! Charge!

Josephine (first feature) completed by July 15.

Fish Don't Where Clothes (a feture lengthed version) filming in September, depending on fundraising, scheduling.

Websites coming soon.

Ovechkin = Good. The Caps should just trade him to the Stars for future considerations... did I really just type that?... But seriously, dude is fun to watch. I like the future of the sport with guys like him and Sid involved.

The Green Fairy was not nice to me in Spain. Of course I drank so much I nearly pickled myself.

That's never good. But the first time I attempted to try absinthe was in L.A. ... I had a film showing at L.A. Shorts, me and another filmmaker - oddly enough from Spain - had heard that some bars did an illegal backroom absinthe thing. Figuring it was illegal made it all the more enticing. We spent a night, without a car, bar hopping, just hitching rides with random strangers. I remember three bars, I think.

The next thing I remember is waking up on the beach. I thought I was alone, but as I popped up I saw Pablo passed out about fifty yards away. Neither of us could figure out if we actually found absinthe... or how we ended up on the beach.

I have since tried the filthy stuff, didn't do all that much, so methinks we just drank too much, found some random beach party, and then passed out. But oddly neither of use were hung over. Just really thirsty. Oh, and we found no evidence of a beach party, or a bar, anywhere near our beachbound location.

Great success!!!

been a huge ducks fan since the inaugural season. i was definitely rooting for canucks so we'd have to play them instead of the sharks. i'd have to say the officiating was atrocious last night, the canucks had 11 power plays compared to the stars 5 i think. nonetheless the ducks are takin the cup this year

Ducks will take out the 'Nucks in five. Vancouver just has no offense. They only got their power play going at all by being on it for a good 15-20 minutes last night.

Speaking of "great success" and the Canucks.... Razor pointed out that Bobb Luongo does in fact look a lot like Sasha Baron Cohen. Not to be confused with Sasha Cohen, 'cause that would be weird. "My name-a Roberto."

If anyone is interested in the penatly parade from last night's game:

Another Capitals fan on PF.com! Face it, our season was over in game 2, to be honest. Ovechkin is the best, and it seemed like Semin grew up during his hiatus back to Russia, and it sounds like the Backstrom kid is going to be a stud. Hope there's one more good run before Kolzig gets too old.
