Q: Hey Justin, I couldn't help but notice that you weren't in the Pro Football Weekly book and we had a kind of hard time finding an awful lot out about you. Did you expect going into today that you would get drafted?

JR: Well yeah, I mean I was hoping to get drafted in the late rounds and maybe do a free agent thing, but I was extremely excited that I got picked up in the sixth round.

Q: Did the Patriots show interest in you leading up to this?

JR: Yes Sir. I got several phone calls from them saying that they were interested and they were going to try to pick me up, if not in the late rounds then as a free agent. Like I said, I'm just really glad they picked me up.

Q: Justin, how do you feel about making the transition from defensive end to outside linebacker, and have you played any linebacker?

JR: Well I haven't really played any in college, and I've always been a kind of undersized lineman, so I don't think the transition is going to be that bad. I've always played kind of a drop-back and I've been working out with my trainer here, Rich Cody, who was a defensive back in the NFL. He's been working on my hips and my feet, so that transition is going to be pretty easy, I hope.

I hope he does well...I am going to have to start following the Pats stats during the season to see what he does. Best of luck!
