Picture on today's Ponyfans.com (07/11/2007) seems to show the All American Super Hero warming up his throwing arm!!

I met Logan Turner a couple of days ago. Didn't talk long, just basically a "nice to meet you" conversation. He did say he greatly enjoyed his experience at the all-star game, and getting to know Kelly Turner and Josh LeRibeus (his teammates) and De'Von Bailey, who played across from him (he said Bailey never made a play, because the other safety was .... an inviting target, I guess). Said he has enjoyed the people he has met this summer, and that Vic Viloria is working everyone very hard.

Looks bigger than I thought he'd be. When I talked to him for the recruiting roundup, he told me 6-0, 180. He's at least 6 feet — maybe 6-1 — and while he surely isn't bulky, by any stretch, he looked stronger than the pictures that made the rounds while he was being recruited.

That's the same pose he struck on he cover of "Zack Sledge, American Hero" Series 4, Volume 6, where our story found him lobbing grenades into a trap door to a VC underground tunnel system in the jungles of Laos from 70 yards away. Saved 12 men in his unit that day. Of course, he was in standard issue jungle camo and battle helmet instead of football gear....

Would be great to see if PB put Mapps or Givens in Shotgun and ran some QB draws once in a while...liven up the playbook a little...MORE TRICK PLAYS
