Tell me if this concerns any of you.
Every March, all you hear about is how there's always a 12 upsetting a 5, and everyone loves to pick who they think it will be. You also usually hear about someone else as a "cinderalla story to watch," usually a six or seven seed. Invariably, it seems like it's always someone OTHER than the 12 seeds that everyone picks. It also seems like that other 6/7 seed everyone says watch gets run out of the arena. In fact, it's more common to see a 12 seed get their [deleted] handed to them after any number of people had them going a long way.
What does this have to do with SMU football? I've seen a handful of articles calling for a possible upset over Tech, and others have talked about winning CUSA. All these things do nothing but remind me of what I describe above, which seems like is what usually happens.
